Abeleto stops usability testing

by Branko Collin

Amsterdam, 20 February 2008. In 2000, Abeleto started as a brand for usability testing and web development with independent offices in Edinburgh (closed since) and Amsterdam. Although the company has always managed to generate plenty of interest in its web development services, sales of usability testing have lagged considerably.

The amount of effort required to stay up-to-date with the world of user testing has become unjustifiable in light of this lag. Therefore Abeleto has decided to no longer offer its services for user testing.

We regret to have to take this step, as we consider usability testing to be a basic and necessary ingredient for producing quality websites.

Abeleto will still sell expert usability advice, based on our experience of more than a decade of building usable and accessible websites.

Abeleto will always keep developing websites with an eye for both usability and accessibility, but will no longer provide user tests.
